On the afternoon of December 2nd, the German National Pavilion was invited to carry out two activities entitled "The New Silk Road China-Europe-Express Railway and German National Pavilion" and "Cross-Border E-commerce development and practice" at Seventh Teaching Building in 1407 of Chengdu Campus. Full English lectures. Nearly 30 teachers and international students from the School of Economics participated. Mr. Xi Zhen, Director of the German Pavilion, first introduced the construction and development of the China-Europe Railway Express along the Belt and Road and the construction process of the German Pavilion. Starting from the concept of e-commerce and the development process of O2O, Mr. Wu Xiaozhou, the head of the cross-border mall of the German Pavilion, analyzed the current situation of the cross-border e-commerce industry and personal prospects for future trends to the teachers and international students present.

After the lecture, Professor Shen Qianling and the Director of the German Pavilion Xi Zhen had a discussion, and the two sides reached a preliminary consensus on the cooperation of industry, university and research.

It is reported that the German National Pavilion opened on November 21, 2020. It is located in the Qingbaijiang Railway Port area of Chengdu. The pavilion is officially authorized by the German Consulate General in Chengdu. The "Belt and Road" strategy countries have exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, and education, actively centering on Chengdu's goal of building a new development concept as a national central city, and building a China-Germany integration of culture, tourism, art, technology, and business services.
